Breakfast around the world

Fuckin australia

I was browsing on mobile and the gifs weren’t animating for some reason so this was just this avant garde post of the same plate on differently colored tables and I read the caption “Breakfaster Around the World” and just stared at it trying to understand the artist’s deeper meaning

I am so ashamed

I love Indian breakfast though it’s hard on my stomach for morning.

There are thousands of possibilities about what is a typical German breakfast. It’s Müsli for some, other eat other cereals/cornflakes, other’s eat toast or bread (not what you call bread ;D) or Brötchen (but different from those in the pic, more like little breads. Forgot you don’t have real bread.) that are either topped with marmelade or other sweat things or cheese or sausage (but not those shown, we are talking about salami or bacon or such things). Some drink coffe, some tea, some juice or a combination of that. Very often eggs in one of a thousand different forms is part of it. Or you do pancakes for breakfast. There is nearly no limit. The only limit: we don’t cook elaborate things. We maybe do eggs or pancakes, but that’s it. Otherwise you only have a breakfast that consists of plundering the fridge. ;)

Everyone eats different kinds of breakfast. Often different each day, but NOTHING LOOKS LIKE THAT.

amen to that.. i’ve never eaten a breakfast that looks remotely like that here in germany! the sausage belongs to an english breakfast, not a german one!
